FAQ

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! We'd love to schedule an appointment for you.

Do you accept my insurance?

As a courtesy to our patients, we bill all insurance companies. We can also check with your dental insurance to help you better understand your benefits.

I'm a very nervous patient. How can you help me?

It's very common for people of all ages to feel nervous about visiting the dentist. No worries! You'll feel more at ease if you set up a free consultation with us. That way you can visit our office and meet Dr. Tinkle to see if Belmont Family Dentistry is the right fit for you. Having an informal, no-obligation visit like this puts many people at ease while they choose what's best for them.

Do I have to have x-rays taken?

X-rays help Dr. Tinkle diagnose necessary treatment as well as any potential problems. We might be able to transfer your recent x-rays from your previous dental office to Belmont Family Dentistry. Keep in mind that sometimes transferred x-rays lose their quality, so we might have to take some new x-rays to make sure we're seeing every nook and cranny. This is so we can provide you with the best care possible.

What ages of people do you treat?

We provide comprehensive care for all ages.

I haven't been to the dentist in a long time. Where do I start?

First we'll take x-rays of your entire mouth, and then Dr. Tinkle will give you an exam. The information he gathers from this comprehensive exam will be enough for him to prepare a customized treatment plan that you'll be able to follow at your own pace.

What makes Belmont Family Dentistry different from other dental offices?

Once you step into our office, you'll be greeted warmly by our compassionate and nonjudgmental staff. Each person on our team has up-to-date training, and we invest in the newest technologies. We're able to give you quality care by improving your teeth here in our office and by giving you great dental care tips to take home with you.

Do you offer payment plans?

We provide budget-friendly options so you can complete your treatment plan at your own pace. If you pay with cash or check at the time of your service, you're eligible for a 5% discount. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and CareCredit. You may apply for CareCredit either in our office or online at CareCredit.com. We're able to bill your dental insurance directly for your services. We will request any estimated co-payments and deductibles not covered by your insurance at the time of service.
